Call to Prayer this November

We are called to a Month of Prayer by Cardinal Vincent Nichols and Archbishop Justin Welby.

Tribute to Geoff Carlton

Geoff was a kind and unassuming gentleman who returned to the parish in his retirement.  His neighbour Sheena paid a glowing tribute to him at his funeral on 19 October.  She bought the house next door to Geoff (by then a widower) some years ago, and as she moved in after having months of work done on the house, Geoff turned up with a bottle of champagne to welcome her to the neighbourhood.  This was when she realised what a caring person he was.

Your Legacy of Faith

Remember the Church with a gift in your Will. As Catholics, we believe in the sanctity of life; a precious gift from God. We strive to live life joyfully and faithfully, in the hope we will return to our Creator after a natural death, to enjoy eternal life with Him. When you move onto the next life, you can make your lifetime of faith live on through a gift in your Will.

Tribute to Jean Edwardes

Jean Daisy Edwardes was born in Camden Town on 21st February 1927. She started work in the Kayser Bondor factory where she perfected her skills as a seamstress, which she used for the rest of her life along with many other creative activities. She had taught Art and Needlework at Maryville Convent and also worked for Bexley Council as Manager and Senior craft instructor. She was adept at painting, tapestry and pottery.
